Heating Element

Check the heating element for visible damages as well as for continuity. If there is no continuity replace it. Also check for the power supply. If there is proper power supply to the element, and the element is not working, replace it. The element is not only used for drying dishes. The main purpose of the heating element is to heat up water to the proper temperature through the cycle.

Air Vent
-
If the air vent not working, and it stays closed, no excessive steam will be removed from the unit in the drying cycle. The dishes will remain wet.

Rinse Aid
-
Some dishwasher use Rinse Aid as a drying agent. A rinse aid can also prevent the accumulation of water droplets that would otherwise dry. Check the rinse aid reservoir and make sure the reservoir lid opens and closes correctly to dispense the fluid.
