If your Wolf oven is not heating or does not get hot at all, it could be a problem with a heating element, oven igniter, thermostat, or control electronics.
Possible causes:
Never place the aluminum foil on the bottom of your Wolf oven. Using aluminum foil on the bottom of a gas or electric oven can block heat and airflow, resulting in unevenly cooked food. Additionally, aluminum foil may melt and damage the oven's bottom.
The Wolf gas surface burner is not igniting for several reasons. Some issues can be resolved by yourself, but for most, you will need to call for service. When your gas cooktop burner won’t light, it's often because the orifice or burner is clogged, obstructing the gas flow. If one or more burners fail to ignite properly, the issue may lie with the spark module, spark igniter, or spark switch.
Your Wolf microwave is not heating due to a faulty component in the low voltage (120V) or the high voltage circuit (2100V). Electronic control boards, door switches, thermostats, or fuse are part of the low voltage circuit. Magnetron, high-voltage capacitor, diode, and transformer are part of the high-voltage system.
Note: We do not recommend DIY repairs on microwave ovens due to the presence of the high-voltage circuit. Some components can store electricity that can be dangerous and hurtful, even after you unplug the microwave.
