Heating Elements

Check the bake, broil and convection element for burned spots and broken parts of the element. If elements appear normal, in one piece without visible burns then, most likely they are good. We can troubleshoot the element by checking for continuity. Broken element has no continuity.

Having trouble heating up your gas oven? If the oven igniter glows, but the oven doesn’t get hot, it will need to be replaced. If the igniter is not glowing, visually check it for cracks and brakes. If it looks ok, it requires further troubleshooting.
